My name is Sophie Bouleghlimat and I am a freelance 3D artist based in Cardiff, Wales.

I create various 3D models, ranging from characters for animation, assets and environments.

My love for 3D developed from playing video games, reading books obsessively, studying the beautiful illustrations contained inside and having an inspirational artist for an uncle. Initially I studied the path of illustration, which was fulfilling but I wanted more. I wanted to be involved with the process of creating a  video game or animation.

​

My experience in 3D comes from a Skillset approved degree, BA (hons) Art and Animation course at the University of South Wales (2014-2018). I am very grateful for the experience and introduction that University has given me. It has allowed me to gain experience in working as a team. The skills I have learned are invaluable and so is the mentoring I received.

The more I learn about the 3D world, the more I am inspired to work harder and become better at what I do. 

Now is the time for me to move away from education and to begin my professional career.
